My daughter and I stopped by on a Sunday and got 2 sandwiches with sides. Pork and beef with beans and collards. It was so good, we enjoyed every bite. Price was $17 and worth it.
I'm literally in the parking lot stuffing myself. The burnt ends of the pork but then such a moist center is supreme. Such a nice char and smoky taste. I went with a pork lunch which comes with one side and a slice of bread. I got collards which were refreshing and not overly salty as a lot of places I've been to. It was a nice change to get this over the over saturated ones. I'm definitely full from a lunch portion but not overly stuffed.
We've driven by this trailer a few times and we finally stopped in today! We ordered a whole slab (half sweet, half mild) and it was finger lickin good! I just moved back to Orlando from Kansas City, MO and this place made me forget about the barbecue I've been missing. They are open and ready to serve you during this pandemic! This man knows how to cook and it touch my soul and filled that craving that I just couldn't find in the Casselberry/ Altamonte area where I live and work. He's only there Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but is well worth the wait.
My husband saw this place on his way home so we grabbed lunch my husband got the pork lunch with medium sauce and i had ribs with sweet sauce. Im a sucker for good bbq and this is the best i have found around here besides my own. Each meal came with a slice of white bread and a side of cole slaw,greens,potato salad,baked beans,okra or fries.i gave my side and bread to my husband because I don't eat them.my ribs were cooked well and not dry my only issue was they were a tad bit salty but certainly not inedible. I tried a bite of my husbands pork and it was quite good. I may have that or the bbq chicken next time. All in all it was tasty and we will most likely go back one day. The man outside was very nice im going to assume that was uncle jones. Also the accept visa and mastercard and their prices are good.
Finally got their hours! Tuesday-Thursday 11am-6pm, Fri-Sun 11am-8pm. Closed Monday. And, Mr. Uncle Jones suggests that you don't dally on Friday and Sunday evenings because they can tend to sell out.
